The design agenda for the Emporio Armani store was to appeal to a dynamic clientele.

The inspiration for the space came from the fluxes inside the shop, mapping the invisible traces of people moving through the space. This concept of fluidity involved studying the paths of people’s movement through the store and translating this into a red fibreglass ribbon, which spirals the spaces and captures a sense of movement.

Subsequently the transition between spaces becomes fluid as one spaces disappears into another.
